Maximum age Limit
Sub-Inspector: The candidate must be between the ages of 20 and 26, as of January 1, 2023.
Constable/Driver Constable/Boatman: As of January 1, 2023, the candidate's age cannot be less than 18 or greater than 25.
Age range for constables in the Commando Battalion: 18 to 21 as of January 1, 2023
Grade 4: The candidate's age as of January 1, 2023, cannot be more than 40 years old or less than 18.

A new website named the Common Application Portal has been created by the State Level Police Recruitment Board of Assam to accept online applications for all open positions in the Assam Police. Candidates will be able to submit their online applications for all of the Assam Police recruitment using this portal. This Assam Police single platform will simplify the application submission procedure by minimising the need for re-registration for numerous recruitments.
